In order to compile Mathemagix on RedHat 7.2, I had to add
#include <cstdlib>
to $MMX_PATH/src/types/generic.hh (exit() was undefined), and
#include <cstring>
to $MMX_PATH/src/types/string.cc (strlen() was undefined).
Now it seems to work...
