Hello everybody,

./configure --help shows:

...
Optional Packages:
...
  --with-readline=DIR     Readline installation directory
  --with-gmp=DIR          Gmp installation directory
  --with-mpfr=DIR         Mpfr installation directory

Since the default readline that comes with the MacOSX developer tools  
is not suited at all, using fink is a good option and the --with- 
readline option is welcome.

Unfortunately, ./configure --with-readline=/sw --with-gmp=/sw has no  
effect ...

Once I'll manage a clean build of MMX on Mac I'll give a try on  
Windows using MinGW ...
