Hello,
I've done the necessary changes to support libtool 2.
Before complaining, please do "make maintainer-distclean",
or do a fresh checkout.
Note that 'columbus' has been not modified due to
compatibility problems with MacOS.
Recall that you should not invoke autoreconf with the -f option
unless you use recent versions of autotools and libtool (version >=2).
