No, it was on a debian:

[chyzak@temple ~]$ uname -a
Linux temple 2.6.30-1-amd64 #1 SMP Sat Aug 15 18:09:19 UTC 2009 x86_64 
GNU/Linux

It is a testing debian with packages that have been updated recently (< 1 
week).

(Your project Mathemagix is one of the things that made me start to stop using a 
Mac.)
